Today’s world captivates everyone with solutions to their problems. The real problem is who we follow for those solutions. Knowing God is of supreme importance as we struggle through life’s situations and circumstances every day. "Anxiety in a man's heart weighs him down, but a good word makes him glad" (Proverbs 12:35). Here's a good word: "In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God" (John 1:1). No one else, but Jesus!
I think the greatest weakness in the church today is that almost no one believes that God invests his power in the Bible. Everyone is looking for power in a program, in a technique, in anything and everything except where God has placed it: His Word.
