Job was a man of God because his relationship with God was demonstrated by his faith and love for his family. When fathers love and spiritually guide their family, others see the love of the Heavenly Father. In this Father’s Day message we hear how the patterns of a godly father and godly man make a difference for the kingdom of God.

In this message from Job 1:1-5 we hear three patterns that a man of God demonstrates:

  • The pattern of a godly man brings God in his personal life. Vv. 1-3
  • The pattern of a godly man brings joy to his family life V. 4
  • The pattern of a godly man brings faith to his family V. 5

This sermon was recorded on May 24, 2020 at Oak Harbor Baptist Church. The passage is from Philippians 2:1-4.

  • The essence of humility v. 2
